When Made in Chelsea picnic on your blankets....
It’s not everyday you get a call from TV people requesting your help, so when the producers of hit E4 show, Made in Chelsea called us a couple of months back to ask if they could use our picnic rugs in the season finale, we were only too pleased to get involved.
They were filming a country house shindig at the fabulous Cornbury Park in Oxfordshire, complete with champagne picnic by day and a black tie ball in the evening and needed some picnic rugs as posh as the cast to complete the scene.
We worked with the production team to determine which colours would be best on camera, needing to ensure that what we chose was vibrant against the green grass. In the end we agreed on the Apple Red Picnic Rug, Lemon and Lime Picnic Rug, Fox Picnic Rug, Beach Hut Blue Picnic Rug and Hydrangea Picnic Rug from our picnic rug collection.
It was a good job we sent some of our luxurious extra large wraps as well, because boy oh boy did the atmosphere get frosty in the evening when Lucy and Stephanie had a blazing row. On a brighter note the producer told us...“The female cast members loved the giant wraps and they were well needed for the evening filming to keep their shoulders warm.”
No pork pies for these ladies, strictly cucumber sandwiches and strawberries
