Layer up throws and blankets for a cosy winter look

The tree is up, the halls are decked, but your home still doesn't feel Christmassy enough.  What to do?

For the final finishing touches, you can make your home a cosy winter paradise by layering up throws and blankets. This year, our festive styling draws on seasonal traditions and we've created two key looks, a Berry Merry Christmas and a Traditional Christmas. Each work in a different way to add a festive feel to any interior. 

Berry Merry Christmas brings together blankets and throws from across our whole range and mixes colours you might not expect to work together. We've mixed our palest rose pink merino throw with our Mulled Wine blanket - which is a deep dark burgundy - and combined them with a classic cream.  The result? A colour cohesion that is rich with winter warmth. Set against a stripped back rustic white, with white Christmas lights and low key decorations and you have a clean cosy look for your winter home.

Traditional Christmas is our take on classic Nordic colours. What could be more jolly than green, white and red? As well as colours, we combine textures with the chunky Forest Green lambswool throw and Village Green Pure New Wool throw both working alongside the smooth lines of our luxurious lime white merino throw. Add in a  cranberry red herringbone blanket and you could almost be living the log cabin life.
