We’d like to say we’re hardy country folk, romping over the fields come rain or shine….. but hands up, we prefer to stay warm indoors through the worst of the winter (under a cosy throw, naturally). So now the temperature has crept into double figures, we have unfurled ourselves and are looking forward to getting out and about for the summer ahead.

One of the highlights we have in the schedule for summer is Countryfile Live, which takes place at the beautiful Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, from 4-7 August.

It's the first time that the iconic BBC programme has gone ‘live’ and it looks like they are doing it in style. The organisers tell us they’re expecting 80,000 people to visit over the weekend, with plenty to do for everyone.

From the Rare Breeds Show to the 4 x 4 Experience, the Equine Village, to the Village Green, there’s a whole lot of treats in store…. For us, we like the sound of the Great British Summer Beer Garden!!

We’ve booked our pitch so you can find us along with a whole host of other country traders. We’ll be selling our luxury picnic rugs so if you fancy checking them out in the flesh, come along.
