Covid19 FAQs - How we're doing things differently
Like all of you, we have made adjustments to how things run at Tolly McRae since May and as the road looks rocky ahead, we continue to run a little differently as we go into the winter months.
Are we open?
Yes, we're open and taking orders. We have made adjustments to how we run and our manufacturers and couriers are running slightly differently too. You're shopping differently too. All this combined means our stock levels are a bit different and the time it takes to get items to you is a little longer. We are focused on having a good stock of our most popular lines and these should be available to you within the normal timeframe. Our specialist lines, seasonal colours and limited editions do take a little longer to arrive.
Are we following social distancing guidelines?
We continue to follow social distancing rules and are making sure our operation is run in line with new guidelines.
Is there any changes to shipping?
We always choose to support local so we typically dispatch all orders daily via our village post office. We have a drop system with the post office, so no one gets close to anyone when the drop is made. At this time the number of dispatches have been cut down so we are not going out unnecessarily and to fit with reduced working arrangements at our company.
We have adjusted the timeframe on delivery options accordingly. If we anticipate any delay beyond this we will be in touch.
We are obsessive cleaners at the best of times so we've been in cleaning overdrive mode since March! Hands are washed numerous times a day and the packing surface is disinfected regularly. There is a full clean down before any of your parcels are packed.
If your order is a gift, drop us a note and we'll send it directly to the recipient. We are happy to add a personal note too, that way, you needn't go out.
We have withdrawn our standard personalisation service for the time being as our embroidery specialist is not operating currently.
